The Payne County Commission learned Monday that active COVID-19 cases in the county have started to stabilize.
“The sheriff (Kevin Woodward) reported that the (COVID-19) numbers had reached a peak, and the number of positive cases is starting to taper off,” said District 1 Commissioner Zach Cavett.
