As of 2 p.m. Monday, October 12, the Oklahoma Department of Health reported that Payne County, as a whole, is reporting a total of 2,566 cases of COVID-19 since testing began, with eight deaths and 2,318 recovered, meaning that there are 240 known active cases in the county, this is down about 30 percent from last week.
