In a shocking development one month before school is to start, Drumright head football coach Neal Bacon resigned after just one year as Tornado head coach.
In his lone season with Drumright, the Tornados went 5-7 and advanced to the second round of the playoff s where they lost to eventual semifinalist the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Mustangs.
It is unclear why Bacon resigned at this time.
