PAWNEE — On Aug. 8, the Pawnee Nation Business Council selected the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma’s Chief Tribal Court Judge Robert Don Gifford to serve an eightyear term as a Supreme Court Justice for the Pawnee Nation Supreme Court.
Judge Gifford, a tribal member of the Cherokee Nation, will continue to serve as a district court judge for the Iowa Tribe in Perkins, OK.
