I am sure everyone is aware February was Black History Month and took plenty of time to learn history made by African Americans in acknowledgement. I, however, took the road less travelled and decided to learn not just black history but black history written by black historians — an aspect that is often overlooked. After all, who better to relay information than those who have lived it....
