Cushing Public Schools officials and architects broke ground Monday, officially kicking off construction of the $56.4 million Cushing Elementary School at Highland and Ninth Streets in Cushing. Present at the ceremony were Martha Cackler, Nancy Dowell, Superintendent Melissa Amon, school board members Barrett Shupe, Brina Tate, Shawn Hubble, and Dena Floyd, Economic Development Director Bruce Johnson, Sally Wright and Chris Hubbard.
