Large quake rattles Perry

A 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck about 6 miles northwest of Perry Saturday night, and was felt in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Norman and as far away as southern Kansas.

Reports ranged from light vibrations at a Norman apartment complex to a small vibration followed by a large boom and strong shaking in Perry. According to that report, small knick-knacks were knocked off the shelf shelf and picture frames rattled against the walls.

There were no reports of damage.
