The Payne County Commissioners last week issued an emergency declaration for the county due to the recent ice storm that left many residents with tree and property damage.
The declaration approved during a special meeting allows the county to be eligible for potential state or federal emergency funds for debris cleanup, said District 1 Commissioner Zach Cavett.
