A storm that moved across the state on the evening of July 10 caused severe damage to two local businesses: Cimarron Valley Sod Farms and McKinney Bob and Son’s Custom Butchering.
Fallen trees and torn apart buildings reported at both businesses led to speculation that a tornado touched down near Norfolk Road, in the area of the two businesses.
