Ripley fire department faces the heat in the cold

    RIPLEY – Ripley Fire Department members fought a structure fire in frigid cold from late Jan. 15 to early morning Jan. 16 with aid from Cushing and Ingalls Fire Departments, according to Zach Sales the fire chief for RFD.

    “The original dispatch message went out I believe initially just before midnight. Our fire trucks went back in service about 4:45 the next morning,” he said.
