TULSA — A special accessory is bestowed upon doctoral candidates who graduate and officially earn the title of doctor. The accessory known as a hood is placed by a person of the graduates choosing in a ceremony known as a hooding ceremony. Longtime Cushing resident and doctor Brian Hightower had the honor of bestowing a hood on both his daughter and son — Brooke and Bingham.
