The Payne County Board of Commissioners Monday approved a resolution calling for a Feb. 14, 2023 election to renew the Payne County 3/8-cent sales tax.
District 1 Commissioner Zach Cavett said this is not a new tax, but just a continuation of the existing tax that was established in 1995. This tax comes up for renewal every five years.
