Learn to Navajo weave during three-day event

CLAREMORE — Visit Shepherd’s Cross this January and learn how to Navajo weave over the course of three days. Held on January 4, 5 and 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., this basic weaving class includes a lesson in fiber arts history and practical technology.

TECUMSEH— Kyan Hermann, Agra, placed second in his respective categories at the American Farmers & Ranchers (AFR) Central District Speech Contest held in Tecumseh, Nov. 6. He competed in the Junior Agriscience category. This marks the 78th year of the statewide contest.
