DCRA’s Chili Time changes

CUSHING - Downtown Cushing Revitalization Association (DCRA) will be holding the annual Chili Time event on Nov. 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Downtown Cushing this year. There will be a few changes from previous years.

Payne County Arrests

The following arrests were made between October 15, 2023 - October 22, 2023. All individuals are innocent until proven guilty. Misdemeanor - False pretense/bogus check/con game(X7), possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, failure to carry security verification.
Actors Bryan Withiam, John Gibbs, and Daniel Adam Warrior, visited with Central Tech’s Digital Media class during their home tour to Cushing, OK on the eve of the movie premiere Killers of the Flower Moon, where all three talked with students about their appearances and experiences in the movie. Warrior gave several life lessons including, “How big would you dream if you knew you couldn’t fail? Go for that!”
