Oklahoma State Department of Health as of Sept. 6, reports the total cases of COVID-19 in the state of Oklahoma at 530,594. There has been an increase of 112 active cases bringing the current active cases to 23,492. There have been 499,290 recoveries reported.

For the second year in a row, Justin Crews, a Turf Major, was awarded the Scott A. McGinnis Memorial Scholarship by Scott’s parents, Ray and Tricia McGinnis. The presentation ceremony was held August 21, by the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at Oklahoma State.
