The cow and bull sale in Oklahoma City reflected the seasonal slowdown that often arrives with Thanksgiving week, and this year’s mud only compounded it. With just 158 head moving across the scales, packer interest was described as light to moderate, and roughly half of the usual buyers were absent.

CUSHING — Cushing Marketplace had a holiday makeover this past Sunday thanks to Girl Scout Troop 790. The local troop members decided to donate handmade ornaments for the second year to the Cushing Marketplace’s holiday decorations and on Nov. 30 those decorations were put on display.
