The Oklahoma State School Boards Association Foundation will present the Dr. Bob Mooneyham Memorial Scholarship again this spring to a high school senior who plans to be an Oklahoma teacher.Applications for the onetime $5,000 scholarship are due Jan. 9.

OHP says driver doing 100 mph allegedly impaired by marijuana

STILLWATER — A Texas man accused of driving 100 mph on Highway 51 while under the influence of marijuana has been ordered to appear in court with an attorney on Jan. 7, 2026, on the Payne County felony charge along with a misdemeanor count of possessing a drug without a prescription.

Drumright Receives $400K Grant for Major Water Line Replacement

DRUMRIGHT — The Drumright Utility Trust recently received a grant for exactly $438,130.52 from the Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB) for the replacement of the 141st Street water line.
