CUSHING — Payne County voters differed from the statewide result in several contests during Oklahoma’s Aug. 25 runoff election, including the Republican races for governor and commissioner of labor and on State Question 846.
Mike Mazzei narrowly won the Republican runoff for governor statewide with 186,734 votes, or 50.28%, compared with 184,681 votes, or 49.72%, for Gentner Drummond.
