Kolten Huschen of Piedmont was presented the Scott A. McGinnis Memorial Scholarship by McGinnis’ parents, Ray and Tricia McGinnis of Cushing, during an Aug. 22 ceremony hosted by Oklahoma State University’s Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture. McGinnis, a 1997 Cushing High School graduate, discovered his passion for turf management while playing high school baseball and graduated from OSU in 2001.
