CUSHING — The Cushing High School girls did not just win the one-mile team title.
They owned the front of the race.
Led by junior Harli York’s individual victory, the Tigers packed five runners into the top nine and rolled to a first-place team finish with just 22 points.
York set the tone from the start, crossing the line first in 5:44.76 and beating Bristow’s Ayana Bruner by more than 10 seconds.
