BRIDGE CREEK — Kamden Evans saved a record-setting performance for the postseason.
The Cushing junior ran the 5-kilometer course in 17 minutes Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Class 4A regional meet at Bridge Creek, earning a sixthplace medal and an individual berth in the state championships.
The time was both a personal best and a new Cushing High School record, according to assistant coach Mason Baade.
