According to Cushing Police Department Deputy Chief Nick Myers, there has been a recent influx of calls concerning dogs off -leash or running at-large within city limits.
In the month of February the approximate number of animal control calls for service was 50, whereas in the month of May the amount of calls had more than doubled.
