STILLWATER — The Payne County Board of Commissioners on Monday recognized a local man for heroic actions that saved the life of a 95-year-old woman during the March wildfires.
Matt Leverich received a Certificate of Recognition during the June 16 meeting for rescuing Arzella Dennis from her burning home as fast-moving wildfires swept through the area on March 14.
