Adeline Marie Pieper

February 15, 1937 - September 24, 2021

Adeline Marie Pieper (84), longtime resident of Cushing, Oklahoma passed into the arms of the Lord at her home on Friday, September 24, 2021. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.

Adeline Marie was born on February 15, 1937, to George and Esther Ewen in Avery, Oklahoma. Adeline grew up in the Avery area and graduated from Cushing High School in 1955. Adeline married Tommy Taylor on June 20, 1955, in Avery. Into this union three children were born: Jeannette, Leannette, and Delbert. On July 12, 1984, Adeline and Don Pieper married. Into this union she gained two sons: Bruce Pieper and Doug Pieper.

Adeline was a faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Avery all her life. She faithfully served the Lord by playing the piano. She started playing the piano at a young age. She loved to serve others by helping with Peace, Bread, and Joy and Feed My Starving Children. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and entertaining others.

Adeline is preceded in death by her husband, Don Pieper, her parents, her brother, Robert Ewen and son-in-law, Mike Raff ety.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeannette Pierce and husband, Gary and Leannette Raffety and her son Delbert Taylor and significant other, Connie Bryant. Stepsons: Bruce Pieper and wife, Marti and Doug Pieper and wife, Colleen. Siblings: Julianna Zell and husband, Lothar, Jerome Ewen and wife, Linda and Raymond Ewen and wife, Sally. Grandchildren: Jason Pierce and wife, Kym, Tyler Pierce, Michelle Wilhelm and husband, Jim, Tami Jackson and husband, Brad Jackson, Mackenzie Pieper. Great Grandchildren: Brennon Pierce, Brooklyn Pierce, Hayden Cochran, Karrlee Pierce, Jaelynn Wilhelm, Shontana Wilhelm, Sierra Wilhelm, and Tommy Jackson. As well as numerous extended family and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 27, 2021, at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 27, 2021, at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Linda Ewen officiating.
