Camelia Sue Kershner, longtime resident, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 15, 2021 at the age of 86.

The daughter of the late Cleo and Helan Harmon. Sue was born on December 16, 1934 in Cushing, Oklahoma. She was a Cushing High School Graduate. She was a member of the Class of 1953. She was united in Marriage to Don Kershner in 1960. To this Union was born a son, Jeff ery Don Kershner.

She worked for Dalton Precision and Evans Manufacturing. In her younger years she worked for the Cushing Hotel and Dunkin Theater.

In her spare time Sue enjoyed music, scrapbooking, drawing, reading and stamp collecting. She loved to shop. Sue also loved traveling. She traveled with her aunt, Hertha Evans. Some of her favorite memories were Yellowstone, Disney World, Mt. Rushmore, Niagara Falls and Myrtle Beach. Hertha and Sue also loved to play scrabble.

She is survived by son, Jeff Kershner of Cushing; brother, Steve Harmon and his wife Sheila Harmon of Cushing; niece, Stephanie Harmon and nephew, Shawn Harmon of Cushing; and many other relatives and friends. She is proceeded in death by her mother, Helan Harmon and father Cleo Harmon.

Visitation will be at the Matherly-Davis Funeral Home on Monday night from 6 pm to 8 pm. Funeral Service will be at 2 o’clock on Tuesday at the Cushing Free Will Baptist Church. In lieu of fl owers, donations may be made to Cushing Free Will Baptist Building Fund in Sue’s memory.
