Charlotte “Ruth” Dunn Lanham, age 74, peacefully passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024 to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born on October 4, 1950, in Payne County. She was the daughter of Wanda June McNally and Don Dunn. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Lanham and her parents Wanda McNally-Stinson and Don Dunn. She is survived by her children, Stacie Casey and husband, James, of Prague, Oklahoma, and Stefanie Ryker and husband, Mark, of Cushing, Oklahoma; her brother, Randy Stinson, and her sister, Paula Strom, both of El Dorado, Kansas, her grandson, Bryan Casey of Prague and other cousins and extended family members. Charlotte spent several years as the church secretary for Cushing Christian Church where she also sang in the choir. She owned a small jewelry shop in Cushing and later in life made and sold her own creations. She also had an affinity for vintage and antique items. Charlotte was the author of the book “Faith Song Devotionals for Women,” displaying her writing talent and zeal for the Lord. Charlotte was blessed with a full life and many adventures. She will be missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held at Cushing Christian Church on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
