Clifford was the youngest son of Johnie and Juanita (McConnel) Case. He was born on December 7, 1940, in Cushing, Oklahoma where he remained a resident all the days of his life. After graduating from Cushing High School, Clifford went into the Army where he worked in radio communication stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. Clifford received the rank of Sargeant before being honorably discharged in 1967.

Clifford began working for Cushing Lumber, driving a truck, working in the lumbar yard and eventually moving to sales. He spent 20+ years with Cushing Lumber before retirement in the early 1990’s. Clifford married Vickie Franklin and being privileged to combine families, they spent many wonderful years together. Clifford was an avid golfer, winning a few tournaments and even getting to play in Orlando, Florida, during a finals tournament. He was a huge fan of Cushing sports, especially when his grandchildren were playing, rooting and cheering for his hometown team.

Clifford was dedicated to his family, always willing to help anyone who needed it. You could always seem a gleam in Clifford’s eye when he was ready to play a joke on someone, loving to find a reason to laugh and joke with those he was around.

He is survived by his wife Vickie; son, Gunner Clemons; eight grandchildren, Karly Clemons, Aleah Clemons, Josh Matthews, Jaylee Matthews, Nathan Case, Matt Farley, Alissa Farley and Tosha Grivois; and sister, Sharon Randoph and husband Eldon.
