Donna E. Lessley was born August 19, 1927, to Henry Schutkesting and Hildred (Dougherty) Schutkesting in Dr ummo n d , Oklahoma. She departed this life on June 22, 2023, at the age of 95 years. Donna graduated from Lacey High School in 1945 and then moved to Cushing with her family. She was united in marriage to Hansel Warren “Tony” Lessley and they were married 61 years. The couple had a farm South of Cushing where they raised three children, Patricia, Mike and Kay. Once the kids left home, Donna attended Central VoTech, where she received her LPN license, working at the Cushing Hospital ER and ICU for numerous years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and reading. Survivors include her children, Patricia Carney, Mike Lessley and wife, Cathy, and Kay West; grandchildren, LeAnne Beltson and husband,

Stuart, Tony Puckett and Kaysi Orr and husband, Gregory; great-grandchildren, Randi Meadows and husband, Corey, Bailey Puckett, Sophie Puckett, Scout Puckett and Drew Puckett; greatgreat- grandchildren, Wesson, Hayes and Bowen Meadows and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, John Carney and Bob West; grandson, Randy Barker and her siblings, Russel Schutkesting, Hank Schutkesting and Marcia Croka. Funeral services will be Monday, July 3, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the Matherly-Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cushing Animal Shelter, 1150 N. Maitlen Dr. Cushing OK 74023, the Cushing Public Library, 215 N.
