Esther Geraldine “Gerrie” Baxter Shaull of Yale, OK fell asleep in death on May 31, 2023 in Simpsonville, SC.
Gerrie was born July 22,1936 near Point Pleasant, WVA to Wilbur and Garnet Plants Baxter. Gerrie moved to OK at age 15 with her parents for her Dad to follow his calling to preach the Advent Christian message. Gerrie graduated Classen High School in Oklahoma City in 1954. Gerrie was married to the love of her life LaRoy Shaull for 55 years prior to his death. She was married to Lionel Harris for 1-1/2 years prior to his death. Gerrie was a homemaker and was very proud of her Advent Christian heritage and faith which she loved to share with others. Gerrie was a long time member at Council Valley Advent Christian Church in Yale, OK and attended Guthrie Grove Church of God of Abrahamic Faith in Pelzer, SC while living in SC.
Gerrie was predeceased by her daughter Susan Renee Shaull, husband LaRoy Neil Shaull, husband Lionel Harris, sister Lucille Fowler, brothers Ralph Baxter and Isaac Baxter and parents Wilbur and Garnet Baxter. Survivors include sons Jim Shaull (Cory), Craig Shaull (Brenda Lee), grandchildren Jennifer Winner, Jamie McClain, Micah Shaull, Sarah Shaull, Katie Carson, Blake Shaull, Joshua Paus, Savannah Joy Shaull and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Council Valley Advent Christian Church, Yale OK on Sunday June 11 from 2-3 p.m. with the funeral beginning at 3 p.m. with Dr. Joe Martin presiding. Burial at Cushing Fairlawn Cemetery.
