F Lyle Fogle passed from this life into heaven on Thursday, August 22,2024, with family by his side, at the age of 96 years, two months and two days.
Lyle was born on June 20,1928, in Tulsa, OK. He grew up in Tulsa, graduated from Will Rogers High School and the University of Tulsa. He served in the Marine Corps Reserve and was called up during the Korean conflict. He was a CPA, and later was president of Tulsa Bronze Works, and Pump Valve Specialties.
Lyle was one of the founders of Christ Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Tulsa in the 1960’s and served as an elder through those years. The family lived in Tulsa until Lyle and his wife moved to Cushing in 2006.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Josie Glenn Fogle and Sarah Hazel Fogle, two brothers and one sister. Lyle is survived by his wife of 66 years, Georjean, his son Glenn, Daughter Jeanne Wharry, and Cyndee Pardue, nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
The Fogles attend Crossway Church at 1214 East North Street, Cushing. A memorial service will be held at Crossway Church on Sunday September 8th at 12:30 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Universal aif for Children, Tunnel to Towers, Wounded Warriors, or a charity of our choice.
