Gary Lynn Bradshaw, a longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 in Cushing at the age of 76. Visitation will be held on Friday from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Palmer Marler Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday at Wellston Cemetery, Wellston, Oklahoma.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.
Gary was born on March 5, 1945 in Chandler, Oklahoma to the late Ralph Marion and Maggie Lou (Barnard) Bradshaw. He grew up in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School in 1963. He joined the National Guard in 1965, serving his country for 6 years. In 1966, he married Lorraine Goodwin. To this union, William Randall Bradshaw was born. They made their home in Cushing where they raised their son. Gary began his career at Moore Business Forms in Stillwater in 1967, working as a press operator for 30 years, retiring in 1997. Gary and Lorraine eventually separated, although remained friends always. Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and watching TV. He was a talented artist that loved to paint and draw. Gary will be missed by his family and friends.
Gary is survived by his son Randy Bradshaw and Alejandra of Oklahoma City, sisters Marilyn Duff of Cushing and Nancy Peery of Victoria, TX, brother Rick Bradshaw and wife Freda of Edmond, grandchildren Madison Bradshaw, Gavin Bradshaw, Tyler Bradshaw, and Marcelo Bradshaw.
Nieces and Nephews are Brenda (Gary) Fradd, Brian (Angela) Peery, Brad Bell, Robert Bell, Mike (Brooke) Duff, Jill (Tyler) Magsamen, and Ryan (Chelsea) Bradshaw. And many greats.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-laws Jack Peery and Don Duff.
