James Lee Gambill was born November 24, 1968, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Charles Edward and Alice Aline (Flagor) Carothers. He departed this life August 30, 2022, at the age of 53.
He attended Cushing Public Schools and transferred to Tulsa Union where he graduated in 1987. He then attended Oklahoma Baptist University for two years. Jimmy was a proud American who served his country in the United States Marines from 1990 to 1994.
He had worked for Ahrberg Milling Company and Buffalo Rock Golf course since 2019. He had many hobbies including riding motorcycles, going to Tulsa to the Hard Rock Casino, going to the lake to spend time with his brother, Charles, and fishing with his cousin Alan. Jimmy was also a huge Oklahoma Sooner Football fan. His home was just a place to sleep, the place he felt most at home was the Buckhorn bar with his close friends.
He is survived by two brothers; Charles Gambill, Joshua Harmon; one sister, LenNel Harmon; nieces and nephews, Kiri Harmon, Victoria Harmon, Jamie Evans, Ana Hendershot, Jareth Harmon, Jessica Ritter, and Jamie Ritter; great nieces, Kaliber Cloud, Allyson Ritter, Hanna Taber, and Alice Hendershot; great nephews, Jaylen Evans, Keegan Ritter, and Jack Taber as well as seven aunts, four uncles and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
