James O. Bernard passed from this life on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2020 in the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Cushing, OK.

James was born to Otis and Betty Bernard on April 15, 1959 in Cushing, Oklahoma.

He was married in July 1994 to Jo Ann Crumb in Cushing, Oklahoma. They shared 26 loving years together. In his free time, he loved building model cars and watching wrestling on TV. He and Jo Ann loved attending family gatherings at holidays. He loved putting smiles on children’s faces and making them laugh.

James is survived by his wife of 26 years, Jo Ann Bernard; sister Marie Mullins; brother Charles Bernard; mother-in-law Betty Jean Clark. James is also survived by 1 niece, 3 nephews, 2 great nephews, and 2 great nieces.

James is preceded in death by both parents, Otis and Betty Bernard; sister Linda McCarty.
