Joyce Marie Dilley was born in Brush, Colorado to Bob and Mary Ann Savory on July 28, 1955, where she joined brother, Bill and sisters, Helen and Gerri of the home.
Her life was characterized by many moves across and between states. In that time, she added a stepfather, William Glen Martin and many more siblings to her family. Her brothers Glen, Kenny and Terry and sister Glenda. Joyce had lots of love to share with each one and she always did, in a way that was unique to them. Joyce’s unending love and free spirit continued on into her adult life. She had many different relationships, but ultimately, she married the love of her life, Bob Dilley. As they began their lives together, they decided a farm was what was in store. Living on the farm was a challenge, but it was one that Joyce loved. Like everything in her life proved, Joyce was multi-faceted, and her professional life was no different. From Welding, selling insurance, cleaning houses, bartending and eventually settling into home health care, no matter what Joyce ever did, she put her whole heart into it and made it her business to do the best that she could. Some of her hobbies included dancing, singing, song writing, writing poetry, and even riding horses on the farm in her younger years. She loved her yard and flowers and worked very hard to keep them nice and neat. There was no greater love than that of her dogs, they were her babies. Her companions at the end of her life, and she mothered a slew of them, and they knew she was their protector.
Nieces and nephews were very important to Joyce. She would attend any and everything that she was able, from football games, to graduations, and weddings, you could always count on Aunt Joyce to be there in the crowd, celebrating with you, cheering for you, and showing her love and support. You could often find one of them stopping by to check on her and have a glass of tea or diet coke, or her brothers working on her phone or watching The Young and Restless with her. Joyce was loved and cherished and will be missed immensely. She loved hearing about all their families and their children, and made an effort to always keep up with many of them on Facebook making frequent comments on their pictures. Joyce loved her family more than anything and would genuinely do anything for any of them.
She is survived by her brothers Kenny and wife Lynda of Yale, OK and Terry and his wife Denise of Pawnee, OK and stepsons, Ronnie Dilley and John Dilley of Stillwater, OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents Glen and Mary Ann Martin, Sisters, Helen (Joey) Minyard, Gerry Miller, and Glenda Endicott; Brothers, William (Bill) Savory, Glen (Marty) Martin, and stepson, Greg Dilley.
