Judith “Judy” Lynn Anderson passed from this life on January 9, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. Her care has been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma.

Judy was born on November 19, 1942, in San Bernadino, California, to parents Claude and Anita (O’Bryan) Daugherty. She was one of five children. At a young age, Judy found the love of her life, Ronnie Anderson, and they were married on December 10, 1957, and was able to spend 65 wonderful years together. To this union were born three boys: Lonnie Jay, Steven Lynn and Shane Bruce Anderson.

Judy truly had a heart of gold and sought to be perfect and upright in all she did. She desired to live righteously before her Lord Jesus Christ and show her family the faith, being a rock for each of them. She had such a caring nature which showed in the love for her husband, raising her children, raising many of her grandchildren and even some nieces. She was dedicated in all she set out to do. When her family was taken care of, Judy enjoyed her down time being athletic, especially in her younger years, but her favorite passed time was knocking over pins with her bowling skills.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronnie Anderson; three brothers; one sister; two sons, Lonnie Jay and Shane Bruce Anderson; and one grandson, Josh Anderson.

She is survived by her son, Steven Lynn Anderson; six grandchildren, Kaycee Stewart, Kotie Anderson, Christopher Anderson, Whitney Anderson, Cheyanne Anderson and Ribbin Dorado; thirteen great grandchildren, Emery Cunningham, Brandon Anderson, Valerie Cunningham, Darin Stewart, Bradley Jacobs, Brison Stewart, Kloie Stewart, Dalton Pope, Landon Pope, Christian Anderson, Gracie Anderson, Ah’Nya Anderson and Legend Anderson; and four great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held for Judy from 4PM – 8PM on Thursday, January 10 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2PM, Friday, January 12, at Palmer Marler Funeral Home’s Chapel in Cushing, Oklahoma. Interment will be immediately following at Fairlawn Cemetery.
