Judy Ann (McNeal) Herring

Judy Ann (Mc Neal) Herring passed from this life with her family by her side on February 9, 2024, at her home in Cushing, Oklahoma. Her care has been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home.

Judy was born on October 1, 1947, in Cushing, Oklahoma, to parents Billy Joe McNeal and Viola Irene (Rhamy) McNeal-Goodwin. Judy went to school and graduated from Cushing, Oklahoma as well. She was the oldest of 11 children which must have taught her the caring nature that she kept with her throughout her entire life. Judy had her three children: Bill, Tressa, and Ace, finding a joy in raising her family. But her family wasn’t complete until she met Everett Wayne Herring in the Summer of 1976, and they spent the next 37 wonderful years together until his passing in 2013. Although Judy loved her family and enjoyed the life she was blessed with, her greatest joys were when her grandchildren came along. She was fulfilled when her children would bring her grandchildren to come and stay, allowing her to spend quality time with each one. Judy wanted quality time, but also quantity, making sure they could spend time together at the lake and the river, going to garage sales, even going to bingo night. It didn’t matter as long as her family was nearby.

Judy was a walker. She walked all over this town no matter the distance and no matter who was with her, they all got to walk. The reason she walked was she never wanted a license to drive. She said that if God wanted her to go that fast that he would have given her wheels! “Gramo” will be greatly missed by all that had the pleasure to know and love her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Everett and her brother Billy Joe.

She is survived by her children, Bill Stallworth, Tressa Baster and husband J.R., and Ace Stallworth; grandchildren, Brett Stallworth, Chad Stallworth and spouse Leslie, Austin Stallworth and spouse Austin, Gage Stallworth, Shawn Stallworth and spouse Sarah, Julia Stallworth, Amber Wright, Reba Marcus and spouse Kyle, Caitlin Elizabeth Smiley and spouse Creed, Hannah Leigh Stallworth and Dakota Ace Stallworth; sixteen great grandchildren and siblings, Linda McNeal, Irene Leverich, Debbie Flavell, Betsy Herring, Robbie McNeal, Matt McNeal, Roberta Sams, John Goodwin and Lorraina Goodwin along with numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
