Funeral services for Drumright resident, Kay Dell Ryker, were held 11:00 a.m. Monday,

Kay Dell was born in Drumright, Oklahoma on March 5, 1945 to the late Nellie Mae (Madewell) Shelton. She passed from this life in Drumright on December 22, 2020 at the age of 75 years, 9 months, & 17 days. Kay Dell was raised & educated in Drumright and has lived all of her life in this area. She married Eldon Lavelle Ryker on February 15, 1963 & they had remained together until his death in 2007. She later met Ted Varnell & they became great friends & companions over the years. Kay Dell had worked as an LPN with the Drumright Nursing Home for 48+ years until her retirement. Her greatest passion was spending all the time she could with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her MOTHER: Nellie Shelton; HUSBAND: Don Ryker; SON: Ronnie Ryker; Great Grandson: Cash; her good FRIEND: Ted Varnell; BROTHERS: Brady – Harold – Bill – Junior – Dean - & Danny Shelton; SISTER: Georgia Mae Thornbrue; SISTERS-IN-LAW & BROTHERS-IN-LAW: Barb Shelton – Janet Deckard – Karen Burris – Deloris Lorrett – Bill – Roy - & Kenneth Ryker. Also 2 Nieces & 10 Nephews.
Her remaining family includes her DAUGHTER: Shelia Cummins & husband Bob; GRANDCHIDLREN: Trisha & Styles – Kristopher & Ashton – Jessica & Josh – Justin; GREAT Grandchildren: Gavin – Avie – Aubree – Easton – Ryett – Parker K – Rimington - & Kage; 1 BROTHER: Melvin Shelton & wife Linda; BROTHERS-IN-LAW: Leon Ryker & wife Carol – Jack Lorrett – Buck Burris; SISTERS-IN-LAW: Rose Mary Ryker – Donna Haines – Janet Dickey; plus a HOST of Nieces – Nephews – Other relatives & friends.
