Kelli Kay Ross, a longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at her home in Cushing. Services will be held at a later day.

Kelli was born on November 11, 1962 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Charles “Buddy” and Sharon (Flournoy) Huston. She grew up in Oklahoma City, graduating from Putnam City High School in 1981. Kelli attended OSU for a couple of years then decided to go to Indian Meridian for X-Ray school and became a registered X-Ray technician. She began her career at Cushing Hospital where she worked for 20 years. While working at the hospital, she received her associate degree and became a Ultrasound Technician. Kelli worked for Stroud Hospital as Director of Radiology then at American Institute of Medical Technology where she taught Ultrasound for a few years. Her health began to fail her so she retired to stay at home. Kelli loved being with her family and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed crafting, garage sales, thrift stores and collected many shoes.

Kelli is survived by her husband Willis Ross of the home, sons Cody Sheehan and wife Amy of Perkins, Kellin Sheehan and wife Meagan of Ripley, step-daughters Krista Ross of Cushing, Kara Larson and husband Chris of Tennessee, mother Sharon Holman and husband Charles, brother Chase Huston and wife Brandy of Ripley, step-sister Kerri Beth Huston of Shawnee, grandchildren Brylen, Easton, Kaden, Mya, Jaxon, Kimber and DeArren, nieces Ashlynn and Madison.

Kelli was preceded in death by her father Charles “Buddy” Huston, grandparents Eunice and Morris Flournoy, grandson Nicholas Ross.
