Funeral services for Olive resident, Lou Ann Gray, were held 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2021 in the Cushing Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Gilliland offi ciating. Lou Ann was born in Custer City, Oklahoma on July 3, 1949. She passed from this life suddenly on August 11, 2021 at the age of 72 years, 1 month, & 8 days. Lou Ann was raised & educated in Nicoma Park, Oklahoma & was a 1967 graduate of Choctaw High School. She married Forrest Lyle Gray, Jr. (Frosty) in 1969. Since 1974, they made their home on the farm at Olive. In 1980, she started her education at OSU to become a teacher. After graduation, she began teaching Science & Home Economics. She retired from Olive Public Schools in 1994. She was a member of the Drumright First United Methodist Church, the Drumright Garden Club, the Drumright/Jennings Order of Eastern Star, the Tulsa Herb Society, and was an Oklahoma Master Gardener. She loved spending time outdoors, tending to her farm & cattle. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family, children, grandchildren, & great grandchildren. Her love for them grew stronger each day. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Carl & Anna Lucille (Zerby – Albright) Barnes; her Husband: Forrest (Frosty) Gray, Jr. in 2015; & a Brother: Lyle Albright.
Her remaining family includes her CHILDREN: Angela Irvine – Forrest (Frosty) Gray III & wife Amber – Cyndee Harnes & husband Justin; GRANDCHILDREN: Clayton – Rachael – Coleton – Holland – Madison – Jacob – Chloe – Claire – William – Hunter – Olivia - & Owen; Great GRANDCHILDREN: Rayleigh – Kash - & Wesson; SISTER: La Wanda Raper; BROTHER: Mark Barnes & wife Sharon; plus NUMEROUS Nieces – Nephews – Cousins - other relatives & friends.
