Lula Pearl (Stockham) Morris went to be with her Lord on December 12, 2023, in Perkins, Oklahoma. Her care has been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma.

Lula was born on June 8, 1931, to Colonel Roosevelt “Kerney” and Francis Emma Lou (Lankford) Stockham in Sasakwa, Oklahoma. Lula married Edward Lee Morris, her husband of 56 years, on February 28, 1952, and to their union were born their three sons: Edward Leon Morris, Roger Dan Morris and James Michael Morris. Lula was a kind soul. She had a way of making those she met or those who entered her home feel that they were family; and those that were family feel they were special. We all felt like we were her favorite. Her ability to do this was her faith in God through Christ her Savior.

Lula was a member of the Park Place Baptist Church. She had many hobbies including going to the lake, fishing, and watching her kids and grandkids play sports. She was a great cook, an entrepreneur but mostly she loved people. She will be greatly missed. Lula is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; daughter-in-laws, Theresa Morris and Mary Morris; sisters, Gracie Haworth, Armenda Fancher and Tillie Blackwell; brother-in-laws, Robert Morris and C.R. Morris.

She is survived by her sons, Leon Morris, Roger Morris and wife Debbie, Mike Morris; sister-in-law, Sharon Morris; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren with another great-grandson due in June: Josh Morris and wife Andrea, daughter Ashlyn LaNette Pierson and husband Tyler, children Breckane and Brigam Jennifer Hixson, son Jacob Kimmel Rachel Myers, children Marlee and Andrew Tyler Morris and wife Mikka, children Maddox and Weston Sarah O’Shell and husband Bryant, children Ryker, Leah, Isaac and Layton Kelsey Dormeus and husband Guerry, children Jaylen and Ava Meagan Perkins and husband Josh, son Dayton Taylor Morris Funeral services will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church in Perkins, Oklahoma at 10AM on Monday, December 18. Interment will be at Flynn Cemetery in Cushing, Oklahoma. Pastor Robbie Burnhardt will be officiating.

The family would like to thank Red Bud Assisted Living Center for their compassionate care of Lula during her time there.
