Melinda was born in Garden Grove, California on December 2, 1956 to Denzel Martin & Thelma (Alsip) Martin. She passed from this life suddenly in Cushing on July 15, 2021 at the age of 64 years, 7 months, & 13 days. Melinda was raised & educated in Oilton & was a 1975 graduate of Oilton High School. She had lived in Tennessee, South Carolina, and finally settled back to this area in 2010. She enjoyed fishing, camping, being outdoors, riding motorcycles, & spending time with her family & friends. She was preceded in death by her father in 2010, & an infant granddaughter: Lillie Venagas.
Her remaining family includes her DAUGHTER: Jodie Stafford-Venagas of Texas; SON: Tom Brashier of Drumright; her MOTHER: Thelma Martin of Cushing; 2 BROTHERS: Terry Martin & Bill Martin, both of Drumright; her BOYFRIEND: Larry Mumford of Drumright; plus some Nieces, Nephews, other relatives & friends whom will miss her very much.
