Noal Franz McGee, age 83, passed away in August 2021 in Tulsa, OK. He was a beloved father to son, Keith McGee for 52 years and a devoted husband to Sara McGee for 59 years.
Noal was born in Yale, Oklahoma to Burl and Ruth McGee. Noal had a younger brother, Tony McGee, who passed away in 2000 from a long illness.
He was the Valedictorian in his 1956 graduating class at Yale High School. Noal was also a pitcher for the American Legion baseball program and was a football player under his dad, the legendary Coach McGee.
Noal graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1961 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. He worked for over 40 years in the petroleum industry as a Process Control Engineer, where he traveled all over the world. He also had many articles published in industry trade magazines.
After retirement, Noal volunteered at Kane Elementary School in Bartlesville tutoring kids. He also enjoyed being a docent at the Price Tower for many years.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, April 23rd at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Bartlesville at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a donation made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
