Patricia Chloe Ann Lukens was born to proud parents Charles F. Lukens & Gladys M. (Williams) Lukens in Cushing, Oklahoma on October 29, 1936. The Lord called his angel home on January 6, 2024 at the age of 87. Mother passed peacefully in her sleep at home surrounded by her family & many loving pets. Raised in Cushing and Tulsa, the family eventually moved to Odessa, Texas, where her father was transferred with Shell Oil. The family packed up and moved, taking along all her cherished pets, including a squirrel, a raccoon and the family crow.

Patty attended and graduated from Odessa High school. While attending high school, she played the flute in the high school marching band and was one of the leading baton twirling majorettes, all while working alongside her mother at the Green Stamp Store. Shortly after graduating, she was married and gave birth to two cherished daughters. The family was transferred to El Paso, Texas, where she worked and retired from the State Department of Highways and Transportation. She loved her job as a Travel Counselor who was honored with multiple prestigious state awards and eventually moved up to bureau manager. She was loved by her fellow employees, state officials and the thousands of people who traveled from around the world.

Mom was preceded in death by both her parents, her two brothers, Charles F., Jr., and Ralph S. Lukens, and her beloved grandson Jesse. She is survived by her sister in law, Luann Lukens, her sister Tina and husband Rick Thetford, her two daughters Tamyra Davis and Gary Bissell, Julee Davis and her four children, mom’s grandchildren, Shaunessy Simms, Arturo “Tury” and wife Annette Fierro, Antonio “Tony” and wife Miranda Fierro, Ale and husband Dustin Weaver and her great granddaughter Tayler Simms, along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She is missed beyond words & she will forever be cherished in our hearts & memories, Tamyra and Julee Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, January 17, 2024, in the Matherly Davis Chapel.
