Patricia Doretta O’Dell was born August 8, 1937 to Kenneth and Pauline Powers in Yale, Oklahoma. She departed this life April 19, 2021 at the age of 83.
She graduated from Cushing High School. On October 6, 1956 Patricia Doretta Powers and Henry Hershall O’Dell were united in marriage. From this union were born three sons, Jeffery Leon, Michael Dean and Kenneth Don. They enjoyed fifty three years together before his passing November 14, 2009.
She was a faithful member of the Park Place Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, canning, and most importantly spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by three sons,
Jeffery Leon O’Dell and wife Shiela of Calumet, Oklahoma, Michael Dean O’Dell and wife Connie Jo of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and Kenneth Don O’Dell and wife Amy of Cushing, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Jeffery O’Dell and wife Izzy, Krishanda O’Dell, Kassi Harrison and husband Clayton, Samantha Ohl and husband Austin, Austin O’Dell and Candice O’Dell; nine great grandchildren, Dominic O’Dell, Audri Ohl, Noraya O’Dell, Elijah O’Dell, Thomas O’Dell, Berkley Harrison, Riley Harrison, Rhulain O’Dell and Lillian O’Dell. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and twin sister, Loretta.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Matherly-Davis Funeral Home.
