Paul Thomas Tinnie, 70, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2024, in Fairfax, Oklahoma. Arr angements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.

Paul was born on June 13, 1953, in Cushing, Oklahoma and was a proud resident of Cushing for the past 50+ years. Paul married Etha Elaine Lamb on May 2nd, 1974, in Cushing. He worked in different positions in the oilfield for many years. He drove a cement truck for Continental Concrete and finished his career at Mustang Heavy Haul at the age of 64. Paul started a DJ business named Golden Reflections of Rock n Roll in 1987. He was passionate about music, especially Elvis. Paul was known to put on an Elvis costume and let his hips fly! In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, along with making BBQ, watching movies, fishing, golfing, and especially welding.

He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years Etha Tinnie; son, Jonathan and wife Sarah Tinnie and their son Preston; sister Darlene and husband Ron Sale, sister Charlotte Butler, brother Randy and wife Pam Wilson, sister Rhonda Corean, sister Evalee and husband Billy Rowe, sisterin- law Margaret Lewis along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Paul was preceded in death by father, Thomas Jefferson and wife Vesta Tinnie, mother, Lorene and husband Francis “Dusty” Wilson; brother, Sammy Tinnie; sister, Connie Wilson-Smith; brother, Donnie and wife Charlene Hammock; brother, Monroe Lewis; brother, John Herbert Lewis; brother-in-law, Leon “Bootie” Butler; sister, Daphne and husband Roscoe Bailey; mother and father-in-law, Lucille and John Phillip Lamb.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2024, at the Chapel of Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Euchee Valley Memorial Park in Cushing.
