Rhonda Jean Poole, age 50 and a long-time resident of Oilton, passed away suddenly the evening of July 29th, 2021, at St. John Medical Center, in Tulsa. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Bixby Funeral Service of Bixby.
Rhonda was born in Drumright, Oklahoma, on November 26, 1970, to Ronald Gerald Graven and Phyllis Jean (Holder) Graven. After graduating from Carney High School with the class of 1989, Rhonda worked for a printing company in Stillwater. On August 31, 1991, she married the love of her life, Dan Lee Poole, and he preceded her in death on May 19, 2021, a few short days ago. Rhonda was a homemaker most of her life and loved her family with all her heart.
She and Dan welcomed their fi rst son, Jordan Lee, in December of 1993, and were blessed once again with their second son, Gerad Ray in June of 1996.
She had a strong faith in God, one that strengthened daily with all that life threw her way. Family meant everything to Rhonda and her marriage to Dan was one for the record books. Her love for Dan was apparent in all that she did, just as his was for her and they were partners in all aspect of life. Best of friends and always putting their marriage and family at the top of the list of priorities, second only to their faith in God. Rhonda and Dan experienced life to the fullest, trips to Branson and camping with her family were a frequent occurrence in their household. They opened their home to many, with her heart always full of love.
Preceded in death by her husband, Dan; her father, Ron Graven and her father-in-law, Danny Ray Poole, she is survived by her mother, Jean Brandon of Yale; two sons, Jordan & his wife Aerial Poole of Oilton and Gerad Poole & Hope Phillips of Oilton; one grandson, Gus Phillips of Oilton; her mother-in-law, Sylvia Jean Poole of Oilton along with many other relatives and a host of friends.
