Rose Marie Gillespie was born August 21, 1931 to Harvey Earl and Melba Micleta (Scott) Fillmore in Cushing, Oklahoma. She departed this life June 29, 2021 at the age of 89.
On April 6, 1950 Rose Fillmore and Loren Gillespie were united in marriage. From this union were born two children, Linda and Audrey.
She had worked at Peters department store as a bookkeeper for a number of years. She was a member of the Big Creek Church of the Brethren. She was a very skilled seamstress and enjoyed making clothes for the family. She also enjoyed crocheting, specifi - cally afghans. She was an avid reader as well.
She is survived by her husband of seventy-one years, Loren Gillespie; two daughters, Linda Dennis and husband Eugene, Audrey Gerfen and husband Chris; one sister, Stella Hood; one sister-in-law, Patricia Fillmore; fi ve grandchildren, David Gerfen, Janene Stewart, Jerod Gerfen, Dash A. Dennis and Rhiannon Dennis; six great grandchildren, Emma Stewart, Abby Stewart, Jenna Stewart, Sheridan Battles, Zaya Battles and Elliot Gerfen. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Betty Hill; six half brothers and sisters, Elmer & Cliff ord Fillmore, Reva Berry, Dewey Green, Harry Green and Lida Locke.
