On Friday the 21st of May of the year 2021 Ruby Bickmore, a loving wife, mother, and nana left this world at the age of 60. She was born on June 17th of 1960 to Albert and Helen Thompson in Nevada Iowa. She went on to graduate with a BSN in nursing. She also achieved the honor of being named The Who’s who of nursing at Missouri Western state university. Ruby became a mother on august 22nd, 1993. Ruby was a wonderful and loving mother. She found the love of her life and married Ashley Bickmore on June 19th of 2012. Ruby loved being a nurse and helping others. She made countless friends over the years. Her greatest joy of all was becoming a nana to her grandson, Rowan. Her last years were fi lled with joy and laughter. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents Col. Albert Dean Thompson and Helen Ray Thompson. She is survived by her husband Ashley Bickmore of Cushing ok. Her son Jonathan and Daughter-in-law Mesa Conforti of Cushing, OK. Sister Sharon Howell of Waukee, IA. Brother Gary and Audrey Thompson of Round Rock, TX. Brother Steve and Debbie Thompson of Dallas, TX. And many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May, 28th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, 800 south Linwood Avenue Cushing, OK 74023.
