Wade Cantrell Haley, 93 of Ripley, Oklahoma passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, surrounded by family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.
Wade was a Christmas baby born December 25, 1927, in Yale, Oklahoma to proud parents James and Lillie (Taylor) Haley. He worked for B&C Pipeline in Ohio, at the ice cream factory, and as an x-ray tech and welder on the pipeline for many years. On November 27, 1949, in Yale, OK he was united in marriage to the love of his life Wanda Carlile; they would share almost 73 years together. Wade loved to do woodworking and welding projects in his spare time after retirement.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Kachner; son in law, Frank Paxton; and daughter in law Bobbie Haley.
Wade is survived by his wife Wanda of the home; children, Don Haley of Ripley, Dean and wife Sue Haley of Ripley, Linda and husband Darrol Williamson of Guthrie, Kay Paxton of Stillwater and Steve and Clindy Kachner of Ripley; as well as 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021, at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at the Chapel of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, 800 S. Linwood Ave. Cushing, OK. Graveside service will immediately follow for those who wish to attend at Greenwood Cemetery in Yale, OK.
