Graveside services were held at the Drumright Oak Hill Cemetery on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 2 pm for lifelong Drumright resident, Wallace Doyle Hallman. Pastor Kevin Vogele officiated. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.
Wallace Doyle Hallman was born March 26, 1945 at Guthrie, Oklahoma. Wallace was raised in Drumright and had graduated from Drumright High School. Wallace entered the U.S. Air Force in 1945 and served his country for four years. On May 9, 1969, Wallace and Susan Todd were united in marriage in Drumright. He was a longtime member of the Church of The Nazarene in Drumright and had served on the Nazarene Church Board and Sunday School Superintendent. He had served on the Drumright School Board for twenty years. In addition to his parents, Wallace was preceded in death by one grandson, Brady Martin, four brothers and one sister. Wallace died January 24, 2022 at the age of 76 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan, of the home; Todd Hallman and wife, Bridget, Drumright, Elizabeth Martin and husband, Jamey, also of Drumright; sisters, Jean Sparks, Cleveland, Oklahoma, Margie McPhail, Edmond and Donna Jean Mercer, Miami, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Kallen Hallman and wife, Rae Ann, Kaden Hallman, Mia Martin and a host of other nieces and nephews.
